About Me
Hi, I’m Kyle Hoffman! I’m a photographer and videographer with nearly a decade of experience capturing stories and the beauty of the world around us. Growing up near Seattle, Washington, I was immersed in a landscape of lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and towering mountains, an environment that sparked my lifelong love for nature and the outdoors.
My journey began with a fascination for photography, particularly astrophotography, capturing the stars, Milky Way, and the northern lights through long exposure photos. Over time, this passion has taken me to incredible places like Indonesia, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador and beyond. As my love for storytelling grows, I am drawn to videography for its ability to bring stories to life in ways that photos alone cannot. For me, the journey itself, the challenges, discoveries, and experiences along the way are often the most meaningful part of my work. Through videography, I can share those adventures while showcasing the breathtaking moments they lead to. Nowadays, I focus on adventure and travel videography, striving to inspire others to explore, step outside their comfort zones, and connect with the beauty of our planet.
What makes my work unique is my love for seeking out the less-traveled paths and immersing myself in the journey as much as the destination. Whether it’s an 8-day trek through the Peruvian Andes or capturing the Milky Way in a remote corner of the world, I find joy in exploring places that push my limits and bring new perspectives to my work. My goal is to continue traveling the world, creating impactful stories through photography and videography. I dream of one day opening a gallery for my fine art prints and founding a production studio dedicated to outdoor and travel films.
Stay tuned for my upcoming documentary, Chimborazo: The Mountain Higher Than Everest, where I explore one of Earth’s most fascinating peaks.
